Welcome to my site . . .
I’m Sheila, and this is my blog. I’m glad you’re here.
I’m a wife and a mom, who equips women to escape the maze of insecurity, fear, and rejection and gives them tools to build lasting confidence.
You might wonder how I do that. I share my life through a window of humor and transparency, one awkward moment at a time.
Maybe you know what I’m talking about. Maybe you’re familiar with that maze. Maybe you’d like to:
heal a hurting marriage
root out shame and break its paralyzing grip
navigate life’s emotional twists and turns and regain confidence
deepen relationships and experience true vulnerability
escape self-condemnation and restore freedom
Here’s a bit about me. I’m a former civilian journalist and editor for the U.S. Army’s award-winning newspaper, The Cannoneer, turned stay-at-home mom, writer, and speaker.
I write from the experience of 30 years of marriage, five kids, home schooling, ten corporate moves, two dogs and a ferret. (May they rest in peace.).
My life is real. Sometimes it’s not pretty, but it’s always honest.
I hope my stories encourage you so you’re free to be the authentic woman God called you to be.
